Hello everyone!
My name is Levi Dixon. I’m 15 and just finished my freshman year of high school. I’ve been self-studying fusion energy for a while now, and I’ve recently started developing a concept I call the **Aegis Toroidal-Stellar Hybrid (ATSH)** reactor.
The idea behind ATSH is to combine aspects of stellarators and tokamaks — aiming to improve plasma stability, fuel flexibility, and possibly scale more efficiently than either on their own. I’ve been working on theoretical designs, performance predictions, and even basic simulation outlines (with some help from AI). I’m still learning every day, and I know I have a long way to go.
I’m posting here because I genuinely admire what fusion represents — a solution with massive potential — and I want to contribute, even in a small way. I’d really appreciate:
- Feedback on whether this concept is worth pursuing or how it could be improved
- Advice on learning paths or next steps I should take
- Recommendations for people to follow, papers to read, or tools to use
I want to share, but also listen. I’m looking for good conversation, honest critique, and hopefully some guidance from people who know this field better than I do.
Thanks so much for reading. I’d be honored to hear your thoughts.
— Levi
